In a groundbreaking partnership, NABOB and USBC joined forces in 2020 to create the inaugural By Black Virtual Conference. This historic virtual event offered attendees and participants the opportunity to gain tools of empowerment from top industry leaders selected by NABOB and USBC on the latest strategies to grow black business, black chambers and black owned broadcasters.
President Winston and President Busby, Sr. kicked off this 3-day online event with a powerful conversation moderated by Ed Gordon which addressed the systemic issues and challenges facing black entrepreneurs and black broadcasters. Topics discussed during this insightful dialogue included the pandemic’s tragic impact on black business ownership, limited access to capital and discriminatory policy regulations to name a few.
The 2021 By Black Conference takes place Oct. 13- 15, 2021 at the MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino in Oxon Hill, MD. Attendees will have the flexibility to customize their in-person or virtual experiences to access sessions in-person, live-streamed online, or viewed on-demand after they’ve posted.
