The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters will host the 45th Annual Fall Broadcast Conference and 21st Power of Urban Radio Forum as a hybrid event, Wednesday, October 13 through Friday, October 15, 2021 at the MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino.
The reference to a “hybrid” conference means that attendees will have the opportunity to experience the conference in-person at the resort, or virtually in the comfort of their own home or office. Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, in-person attendance will be limited. Directions and details for conference registration and hotel booking will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
We are especially pleased to announce that the Conference will once again be held jointly with the U.S. Black Chambers, the leading national advocacy organization for Black owned businesses.
This added partnership with the U.S. Black Chambers will enable Conference attendees to see and hear speakers and participate in the discussion of broader issues that impact all Black owned businesses. At the Conference, which is entitled the “By Black Conference,” NABOB-PUR-USBC will present expert panelists and speakers to address advertising, programming, ratings, digital technology, financing, business development and federal regulatory issues that broadcasters are addressing in today’s competitive marketplace.
